About the Belmont Foundation
The Belmont Foundation Inc., a registered non-profit organization in Grenada and the philanthropic arm of Belmont Estate. The Foundation empowers individuals and communities through education, elderly care, sustainable living, and the preservation of heritage and culture.
Our History
Founded in September 2004 as Hearts and Hands Foundation, after the devastating effects of Hurricane Ivan, The Belmont Foundation was later incorporated as a not-for-profit, non-Government Organization.
With generous support from friends and partners locally, regionally and internationally, The Belmont Foundation supports, organises, coordinates and executes projects and activities that educate, empower, develop and improve the quality of life of vulnerable persons in the rural north of Grenada.
The work of the Foundation is administered through volunteers, who are employees of Belmont Estate.

Supporting students and creating opportunities for learning, literacy, scholarships, and educational development.
Environment & Sustainability
Promoting environmental stewardship, sustainable living, conservation, and environmentally responsible practices.
Elderly Care
Supporting the well-being, dignity, and quality of life of elderly members of our communities.
Disaster Relief
Providing assistance to individuals and communities affected by disasters and other emergencies.
Youth Development & Entrepreneurship
Providing young people with opportunities to develop skills, explore entrepreneurship, build confidence, and prepare for future employment and business opportunities.
Culture & Heritage
Supporting the preservation, appreciation, and promotion of Grenada’s cultural heritage, traditions, and history.
Community Development
Supporting individuals and communities through initiatives that address social needs, create opportunities, and strengthen communities.
